**Overview:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper/Payroll Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in payroll, bookkeeping, client management/interface, and a background in accounting.

**Responsibilities:**
- Preparation of payroll and payroll taxes.
- Bookkeeping services for a variety of industries.
- Reconciliation of client books.
- Interface with clients regarding accounting requests and inquiries.
- Maintain organized records and documentation related to accounting procedures.
- During tax season (January 1st to April 15th) be able to handle a faster work pace.

**Skills:**
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail
- Prior experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, etc.)

- Manage office operations and procedures to ensure organizational effectiveness
- Handle phone systems, correspondence, and scheduling of appointments
- Maintain office supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; evaluating new office products
- Utilize QuickBooks for financial record-keeping and reporting, including reconciliation of bank accounts
- Process payroll and file/pay payroll taxes
- Manage relationships with vendors and service providers
- Maintain and organize physical and digital files efficiently
- During tax season (January 1st to April 15th) be able to handle a faster work pace.
